Multilayer pipes for sanitary installations and heating are one of our state-of-the-art products. Traditional plumbing pipes are not strong enough to withstand significant water pressure. Much thicker pipes make the whole system expensive.
A new technique designed by our partner is based on several layers of smaller diameter pipes glued together. All joints are tightly sealed, the weight is much lower, and the strength is enough to withstand high pressure.
The advantages of our product are:
- Ease of installation and excellent mechanical behavior
- Impermeability to oxygen and UV rays
- Low thermal expansion
- Internal and external corrosion resistance
- Fluidity of the internal surface
- Security and solidity over time
- Sound insulation
- Low thermal conductivity
- Fire behavior
USES OF MULTILAYER TUBES
Plumbing technicians and engineers, also known as transplant specialists and plumbing repair companies, are now using new technology in homes and public buildings, to replace an aging cast iron or steel piping system galvanized which was deemed unsafe for residents and users.
The process involves the complete removal of the old piping system, which can be replaced with the new one. The new high-quality piping is made up of several layers (multilayers). The first layer is made of PEX plastic; this layer is to prevent roots from growing inside the pipe. It also acts as a shield against chemicals and bacteria entering the drain.
