During our economic mission in Nouakchott, we were able to connect with key players in the Mauritanian construction industry and showcase the capabilities of Tunisian companies. This mission was a part of our efforts to expand the presence of Tunisian businesses in international markets and promote them as reliable partners for development projects.

Our strong partnership with @AFD – Agence Française de Développement allowed us to implement the Qawafel project, which aims to support the export activities of Tunisian SMEs in Africa. With their support, we were able to bring together a delegation of 20 Tunisian companies from various sectors such as building materials, engineering services, and construction equipment.

The four-day program included site visits, business-to-business meetings, and networking events with Mauritanian companies. Our Tunisian participants had the opportunity to meet with key decision-makers and establish valuable contacts for future collaborations.

The Qawafel project also provided training sessions on international business practices and cultural awareness in order to prepare our companies for working in different markets. This vital knowledge helped them navigate the business landscape in Mauritania and make a strong impression on potential partners.

Thanks to the success of this mission, we have seen an increase in trade between Tunisia and Mauritania, with many partnerships being formed between our two countries. We are proud to continue fostering these connections and promoting the growth of both economies through our Qawafel project.
